Internet poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variations on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with chemin de fer than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the croupier announcing "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different gamblers attain five cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you need to either make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s value is on same level to your original ante, which means that the risks will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your ante goes instantly to the bank. After the bet comes the face off. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus a figure in accordance with the original bet. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The dealer pays chips equal to your initial bet and controlled expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
