Web poker has become globally famous lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years many variants on the earliest poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the casino rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little concealment or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier announcing "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course all of the different gamblers acquire 5 cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s first card, you need to in turn make a call wager or give up. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original bet, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your ante goes instantly to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, including a figure equal to the original bet. If the dealer does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The casino pays chips even with your initial bet and fixed expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
