Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the west in an excellent game for early level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the dealer, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers compete against other players. By betting against the dealer, beginner players do not have to worry about other, more experienced individuals taking their cash.
An additional Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game pace, rookies should be able to take their time and scheme without having to make frenzied decisions.
It is also simpler to enjoy for a long time with only a tiny bit of cash since, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards faces showing and the house gets 7 cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
