Web poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variations on the original poker game have been created, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house rather than each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the croupier broadcasting "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the house and of course every one of the other gamblers receive 5 cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you have to either make a call wager or give up. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original bet, which means that the stakes will have doubled. Giving Up means that your ante goes instantly to the bank. After the bet comes the face off. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, with an amount in accordance with the original wager. If the dealer does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The house pony’s up money equal to your original bet and set expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
