Poker Aces references two aces dealt before theflop. It is the best attainable before theflop hand inhold’em Poker. But despite this a large number of bettors end up on the losing end when dealt these cards.
When you’re dealt a set of Aces, you just don’t drop out pre-flop. You’re sitting with the greatest achievable hand at this stage of the game. So how do you gamble with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I would say absolutely no to that.
Bear in mind, you’re trying to produce as much profit out of this strong position. You will want to maximize the opportunity. Going all-in will actually scare most players into dropping out without putting a wager.
If you are in the initial position (first or second to actually bet), you’ll lay a single wager. Anybody with decent cards will call, with luck someone may raise. If someone has made a raise don’t spring to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your course of action will be to get rid of anybody that might be able to build a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise boldly, if you are lucky you will trick 1 player into thinking that you are faking it.
If you’re in the center or late seat (near the last to place a wager) you’ll observe as every player calls and then raise. Even with you sitting with a pair of aces, if possible try to avoid a show-down. Defend your hand by making others to fold after the flop. If you don’t abolish your competition you risk losing your hand.
